In 1985, Mark Andol embarked on a journey that would forever change the trailer industry. Starting from humble beginnings inside his father’s garage, Mark built his first trailer using mobile home axles and hand-painting it himself. This inaugural trailer, which featured a unique design with no fenders, was just the beginning of a remarkable story.
Four years later, Mark achieved a significant milestone by obtaining authorization to issue a VIN (vehicle identification number) for MSA Trailers. This recognition paved the way for the growth of General Welding & Fabricating, a company dedicated to producing exceptional American-made trailers that stand the test of time.
Today, General Welding & Fabricating remains committed to its founding principles of craftsmanship and durability. Our trailers continue to be proudly manufactured in our 46,000 square foot plant, boasting a towering 46-foot high ceiling. Equipped with four 5-ton and two 10-ton cranes, as well as a mobile welding truck, we have the capacity to tackle any custom design challenge that comes our way.
