Custom Metal Sculptures by General Welding & Fabricating
Innovative Metal Fabrication for Iconic Art Installations
Albert Paley’s Vision Realized
General Welding & Fabricating collaborated with renowned artist Albert Paley to bring his ambitious sculptures to life, crafting monumental installations for Washington D.C., Florida, and the St. Louis Zoo. These works of art showcase the intricate craftsmanship and engineering expertise that General Welding is known for.
Fabrication Process: From Model to Masterpiece
Each sculpture began with a 1/4 scale artist’s model. Using high-quality metal ranging from 3/4-inch to 1.5 inches thick, General Welding meticulously cut, bent, welded, and painted the materials. The result is a seamless transformation of vision into reality, with each piece reflecting unparalleled precision and artistry.
